20 Tonne Boeing-737 Aeroplane Move
This wingless, tailless Boeing-737 was transported from Christchurch Airport to its destination in Rolleston, late one quiet evening.
The aeroplane weighed 20 tonnes, but that wasn't the only difficulty in moving it; it was 30 metres long, 4 metres wide, and nearly 6 metres high, making it an awkward load to carry.
The total distance travelled in this journey was 24 kilometres, and the move took a grand total of 6 hours to complete.
