Milk Silo Move

Moving this 500m³ milk silo from Christchurch to Edendale was no small feat. There were power lines to be negotiated, tight corners, and traffic galore to avoid.

This silo was 36 metres long, 6 metres wide, and 6 metres high, making cornering "interesting" on what proved to be a long journey.

The total distance travelled was approximately 600 kilometres, and the move took 2.5 full days to complete.
